About The Position

Georgia-Pacific is seeking Production Associates for their Batavia, NY corrugated sheet feeder plant. This role involves operating equipment, monitoring production processes, and ensuring safety standards are met while contributing to the production of corrugated sheets for box manufacturing. The position offers opportunities for advancement and requires flexibility in shift assignments, including potential overtime and weekend work.

Requirements

• Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, agricultural, or military environment OR completion of post high school education in a manufacturing/industrial centered program.

Nice To Haves

• Experience using a computer, tablet, or smart device.
• Previous experience working in a corrugated box plant.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to defined standards and product specification targets.
• Monitor and/or enter data into computer control systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment to optimize production.
• Perform basic asset care duties including routine preventative maintenance and cleaning of the work area.
• Work as a team to help meet or exceed production, waste, quality, and safety goals.
• Operate and/or work around mobile equipment.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing, and/or pulling for up to twelve hours a day in a dusty, loud/noisy, industrial environment.
