About The Position

The position involves assisting machine operators, handling products, visually sorting and inspecting materials, and packing items. The role requires unloading and moving materials and assisting with various tasks within the fabrication shop as needed.

Requirements

• Teamwork and multi-tasking skills
• Must be able to operate a forklift and/or pallet jack
• Must be able to operate measuring devices
• Ability to write legibly and communicate clearly with professionalism and courtesy

Responsibilities

• Cuts, joins, jackets, etc. materials to produce sub-assemblies or finished product from raw materials
• Track production on work orders and notify leadership of any mechanical or material issues
• Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages
• Move parts into position, manually or with forklift or pallet jack
• Set up face blocks, jigs and fixtures
• Mark reference points onto floors or face blocks and transpose them to workpieces
• Unload pallets and move material within fabrication shop as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
