Requirements

Successfully pass an aptitude test covering basic math principles, reading directions and understanding diagrams
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. on a regular basis and stand for long periods of time
Work overtime as needed
Ability to read blueprints, and understand verbal and written instructions
Able to use hand/power tools, measuring equipment such as gages, calipers, indicators, scales, and tape measures
Communicate effectively orally and in writing
Ability to work with computers, label makers, etc.

Responsibilities

Assemble products and package components using hand and power tools, following verbal and written instructions, including blueprints
Perform a variety of tasks/roles throughout the day in a steady-paced production environment
Conduct required quality checks and completes required documentation (e.g.., scrap sheets, logs, data gathering, first/last piece inspection reports)
Set ups and operates various machines and equipment
Participates in continuous improvement initiatives, including maintaining a clean and safe work environment using 6S principles
Use computer for production-related tasks such as data entry and creating labels
Operates various material handling equipment such as power pallet jacks, lifts and packaging wrappers
Performs multiple tasks, and rotates from position to position as required in the production process
Use appropriate PPE for the task assigned
Regular attendance and ability to work overtime
