PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE - Part Time 1st Shift
About The Position
Perform production tasks under close direction following detailed instructions. Perform well-defined routine duties according to quantity and quality goals. May require repeating motor actions for extended periods. Assist in keeping clean and orderly work area; maintain all property, equipment, tools and products in good condition. Follow applicable quality, safety procedures and work instructions. Report all accidents or incidents within 1 hour to supervisor or administration. Move and handle production supplies as required. Move and transport materials and finished product between work areas and dock areas as needed. Load and unload trailers. Perform material handling duties under close direction requiring basic use of hand jacks, bailer, banding machine. Working at DECI can be a very rewarding experience. Requirements
- No education or experience required as comprehensive training will occur. Some training is preferred.
- Ability to work cooperatively with staff and individuals with disabilities.
- Reading, counting, sorting, & recording skills.
- Ability to carry, move or lift at least twenty-five pounds; bend; crouch; kneel; stoop and walk.
- Fluency in English language.
- Drug screen and Background check required.
