About The Position

The Production Associate at RWB Thrift is responsible for executing diverse tasks and processes within backroom operations. This position requires attention to detail, physical endurance, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Production Associates may be assigned to various roles within the backroom. A top performing individual is eager to enhance and broaden their skills, enabling them to perform well in multiple areas of the backroom as business needs dictate. Brief descriptions of various job functions of a Production Associate on any given shift include: Hanger (properly hanging products, attention to color order, sleeve length, garment type), Tagger (accurately affixing price tags, entering prices into pricing machine, learning pricing), Pricer Support (learning pricing tasks to provide coverage), Tallyer & Sensor Support (meticulously counting items, attaching sensors, understanding fabric types), and Runner (delivering priced merchandise to the sales floor, maintaining organization and color order, monitoring sales floor condition, assisting customers).

Requirements

  • Ability to safely and effectively perform essential job functions in accordance with ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting both qualitative and quantitative productivity requirements
  • Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 25 lbs, frequently exert up to 25 lbs. of force, and constantly apply negligible force when handling objects
  • Able to stand for extended periods of time
  • Proficient in performing repetitive motions such as extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction and working primarily with fingers rather than the whole hand or arm
  • Skilled in tasks involving seizing, holding, grasping, turning, or otherwise working with hand or hands
  • Capable of maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling on narrow, slippery, or erratically moving surfaces, as well as maintaining balance when performing agile tasks
  • Possesses clarity of vision at 20 inches or less and 20 feet or more
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and busy environment
