About The Position

Working in our manufacturing plant, the Production Associate plays a critical role in delivering high-quality products to our customers. In this hands-on position, you will support the vinyl extrusion process used in the production of windows and siding while ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency at every step. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read and comprehend English language.
• Ability to use hand tools such as snips or chisel.
• Must be able to use, understand, and thoroughly read a tape measure.
• Be dependable and on-time with attendance.
• Be flexible and willing to learn, including cross-training and developing in other areas in the plant
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work well with others on the team

Nice To Haves

• Experience in an assembly-line or manufacturing environment preferred but not required.
• Perform tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment and tools used in the vinyl extrusion process.
• Use material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Pack, label, and prepare finished goods for shipment.
• Inspect extruded product and equipment; promptly communicate quality or equipment issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-maintained work area; perform required housekeeping.
• Follow and uphold all safety standards and procedures.
• Perform other duties assigned, including cross-training to become proficient across multiple positions and production lines.
