About The Position

Join the Spectro Alloys Team Production Associate | Plant Helper Rosemount, MN Hot work. Real teamwork. Serious growth potential. Yes, the pants are shiny. EGA Spectro Alloys is a high-volume aluminum recycling and foundry operation in Rosemount, MN. Our Production Associates are the backbone of the plant. You might work near the furnace one week, material handling the next, or supporting different production areas as you learn the operation. We promote from within and love building talent. So, if you’re willing to work hard, show up every day, and ready learn how a real foundry runs, this is your starting point. Starting Wage: $20/hr (an extra $1.30/hr for nights) Rotating 3-2-2-3 Schedule (on for 3, off for 2, on for 2, off for 3) More days off. Predictable rotation. Reliable hours. Days: 4:45am-5pm / Nights: 4:45pm- 5am What You’ll Be Doing This role can work in multiple areas. It is physical. It is fast-paced. It is important work. Depending on the assignment, you may: Assist furnace operations including scrap management and material movement Support pouring and production teams Operate forklifts or heavy equipment once trained Move materials and finished product Monitor equipment and production processes Keep work areas clean and safe Follow safety procedures at all times Work closely with Leads and Foremen to hit daily production goals If you are assigned to furnace support, yes, you will get flame-resistant gear. The shiny pants are real. This is hot, industrial work around heavy machinery and molten aluminum. Safety gear is provided and safety is non-negotiable. Requirements

  • At least 18 years or older
  • Comfortable working in heat/cold and around heavy equipment
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stay on your feet for long periods
  • Willing to learn different areas of the plant
  • Strong attendance and reliability

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift experience (we will teach you if you don’t have it!)
  • Previous manufacturing or industrial experience
  • Bilingual English and Spanish
  • dependable and coachable
