Production Associate - Drainland/Kitting 1st shift (5:30 am - 2:00 pm) & 2nd shift (2:15 pm - 10:45 pm)

About The Position

Summary: The Production Associate is responsible to perform all packing functions within the department including hand packing, assembly of kits and quality inspections.

Actively participate in stopping and correcting unsafe conditions and behaviors.

Solve problems daily by working together as an engaged team member
Unpackage and prepare raw material for use in production
Retrieve and prepare work in process parts for the next production process
Prepare finished products for inventory through light assembly, cleaning, cutting, finishing, labeling, taping, stacking and, inspecting and recording information
Start and stop machines, inspect product and make small adjustments as needed
Able to recognize when equipment is not working correctly and communicate with technicians for resolution
Track output, scrap and other key information as required
Clean and inspection equipment as needed
Help in the relief of breaks as needed
Maintain records and documentation
Other projects and tasks as assigned
