JOB DETAILS Starting Pay: $17 per hour Shift: Monday through Thursday 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m (Friday and Saturday based on business need) DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Meets EHS requirements in accomplishing responsibilities of this position complying with all policies, cardinal safety rules or regulations set forth by CBB, or various government agencies concerning safety, environment, vehicles and any related items. The production Associate position performs all tasks involved in the production of the company’s products. The position follows standard work methods and practices safe work habits. Repetitive bench or line assembly operations to mass-produce windows by performing the following duties is required. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Assembles the materials to produce sub-assemblies or finished product from raw materials. Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages. Pack finished goods into correct packages and boxes. Track production on schedule boards. Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues. Place finished goods on the designated area. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Must be able to maintain Production schedule to meet customer orders on a daily basis. Rotate to different workstations as production needs require. Must be able to read a tape measure accurately and consistently. Knowledge of basic math. Read and comprehend floor reports that are in English. Ability to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events. Attendance/Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time. Dependable - Commits to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals. Accomplishes quality performance in all responsibilities being performed in a manner, which meets or exceeds all line, department, facility, and company process for a total quality program of continuous process improvement and customer relation. Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibilities. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to glass, vinyl, fumes and airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee will be exposed to a variety of extreme conditions including heat. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. Personal protective equipment (safety glasses, hearing protection and steel-toed footwear/metatarsals) is required in most areas. In specialty areas, more specialized personal protective equipment is required. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. This position involves bending, stooping, kneeling or crouching, lifting up to 50 pounds, (up to 50 pounds in specified positions), and stand for long periods throughout the day. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Thursday 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Regular and frequent overtime and weekend work required as business dictates.
