Learn about the Danaher Business Syste m which makes everything possible. The Production Associate is responsible for the production of components and other biochemical solutions. Sample responsibilities include producing buffers, handling both hazardous and non-hazardous material , aliquoting, labeling, capping , and using laboratory equipment. This position reports to the Batch Production Manager as part of the In-house Manufacturing team in Waltham, MA and will be an on-site position Monday – Friday , 8:30 AM – 5 PM . Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or at least 2 years of lab oratory experience in a manufacturing environment .
  • Strong knowledge and practical laboratory experience with safely handling both non-hazardous and hazardous chemicals – proper storage, use, and disposal according to safety regulations.
  • Ability to follow protocols and instructions with precision.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with a passion for working in the lab environment.
  • F lexible mindset and ability to adapt to shifting priorities and customer demands.
  • Ability to lift, move or carry containers up to 20 lbs.
  • Comfortable with working in a fast-paced environment with exposure to chemicals and laboratory equipment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with pipetting and in kit componen t manufacturing .
  • Knowledgeable in Oracle and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and manufacture finished goods and intermediate solutions according to specific formulations outline d in the Ma nufacturing Batch Records (MBRs).
  • Maintain proper documentation of all production batches.
  • Operate laboratory equipment such as Biological Safety Cabinets, pipettes, incubators, balances, pH meters, centrifuges, etc.
  • Follow detailed instructions to e nsure accuracy and consistency of products as well as compliance with Quality Assurance policie s and Health and Safety procedures.
  • Contribute to process improvements and SOP development .
