About The Position

Knows and understands all safety rules and precautions necessary for working in and about a manufacturing environment. Ability to set-up and operate designated machinery and equipment Ability to operate computerized equipment and material handling equipment. Perform routine preventive maintenance, adjustments and lubrication on equipment and production tools as required to maintain proper operation. Mark part number, order number, number of pieces on parts. Attach identification tags as required for customer to have the ability to locate correct parts. Interpret technical data and select correct raw material or semi-finished parts. Maintains continuous improvement practices in work area. May be assigned other projects and duties as designated by Team Leader.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Good attitude
  • Team oriented
  • Dependable
  • Energetic
  • Flexible with either working day or night shifts and weekends if needed
  • Read a tape
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
  • Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience a plus
  • Overhead crane and forklift experience a plus
