About The Position

Ardent Mills, a leading flour milling and ingredients company in North America, is seeking passionate individuals to join their team as a Production Associate (Utility Operator). This role is crucial in contributing to the production of nutritious products distributed across North America. As a Utility Operator, the primary responsibility is to maintain the sanitary condition of the facility and to be able to fill in for 1 to 2 operating positions in the plant. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver results, serve others with understanding, operate with clarity, drive change, organize and prioritize tasks, learn new technology, and carry out all activities reliably, with integrity, compliance, and in a safe, environmentally responsible, and efficient manner. Future training will be provided to enable cross-training in additional operator positions.

Requirements

Must be willing and able to work additional hours which may include overtime, weekends, and holidays.
Communication skills in English (both verbal and written).
Must be willing to accept accountability and work well in a team environment.

Minimum of basic computer knowledge and skills

Responsibilities

Routine cleaning of floors, equipment, roofs and outside grounds
Specialized cleaning tasks such as, but not limited to bin cleanings, sifter, filter sock changes
Special duties assigned by management
Basic process maintenance
Cross-train in at least 1 other operator job
Responsible for understanding and following all personnel and equipment safety policies; sanitation policies; following all corporate policies and procedures.
Ascend and Descend stairs throughout the facility.
Climb ladders (both step and extension)
Wear required PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, steel toe boots, gloves) and task specific PPE (respiratory protection, goggles, etc.)
Follow verbal and written instructions (English).
Communicate with peers and supervisors (English)
