Speak and understand the English language sufficient to read materials, communicate with customers and coworkers.
Able to maintain the physical requirements of the working environment.
Perform simple mathematical calculations.
Experience that would lend itself to good customer service is highly desirable.
Previous experience in a retail or comparable environment is preferred.
Frequently required to walk and/or stands for up to 8 hours per day.
Must regularly lift, carry, and/or move up to 20 pounds and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Ability to push/pull and carry up to 30 pounds.
Kneels, stoops, and bends frequently.
Occasional need to push heavy, wheeled carts, pallet jacks, hand trucks and other material handling equipment with loads weighing up to 250 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

Responsibilities

Receives, prepares, sorts, prices, and rotates stock for retail floor and conducts quality control.
Operates department equipment and machinery, prepares goods for sale, procession, or storage.
Performs inventories, tallies, or other forms of tracking as required for the retail environment.
Assists GoodWorks staff with implementation of work plans and guidelines as established for client programs, as assigned by store manager.
Interacts effectively with customers by maintaining providing excellent customer service, resolving problems within the scope of the role to the customer’s satisfaction in a timely, effective, and respectful manner.
