VCC Production Associate
About The Position
Valley Cabinet Inc. is looking for Production Associates! With openings on 1st shift! Starting at $17/hr based on experience. Work Schedule: 1st Shift: Monday-Thursday: 6:00am - 3:30pm & Friday: 6:00am - Noon Who we are: Valley Cabinet is a family-owned and operated company providing the finest quality custom wood cabinetry! A Production Associate will play a vital role in our production process, ensuring that each product meets our high standards of quality and craftsmanship. This position involves working hands-on with various materials, tools, and machinery to fabricate, assemble, and finish custom cabinetry and doors according to precise specifications.
Requirements
- Ability to learn and retain on the job training.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to read measurement tools such as a tape measure.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
- Ability to carry out detailed written or oral instructions in English.
- Ability to meet quality standards - strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to consistently meet/exceed production quotas.
Responsibilities
- Follow established manufacturing procedures under assigned department which may include but not limited to: sanding, assembly, loading and unloading.
- Ensure work orders are completed successfully, on-time, and meet customer specifications.
- Identify defects and next steps when found.
- Operate various hand and power tools.
- Follow all safety rules and contribute to a safe work environment.
- Participate and contribute to a “Team” environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
