In short, the Cornerstone Building Brands Difference is YOU A culture that supports work-life balance An environment where collaboration is key Volunteer opportunities – on company time Career training, development, and progression planning JOB DETAILS Base Pay: $20.00-$21.00 per hour, plus $2.00 per hour shift differential 2nd Shift: 4:00 pm - 2:30 am Monday - Thursday, overtime as designated DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The Production Associate is responsible for the fabrication and production of the component parts for the final assembly of windows. Successful candidates enjoy working in a fast-paced, physically demanding, and repetitive work environment, which includes heavy lifting or working with your hands. This job description is reflective of tasks that will be performed in a variety of departments. Perform repetitive workstation operations to mass-produce windows, doors, and glass units May support the window operations in delivering, wrapping, loading, and unloading of materials or windows Perform any workstation function using hand or power tools, saws, welders, or routers Understand and carry out verbal instructions Read and carry out simple written instructions Read work orders, labels, and schedules Use a tape measure (will be asked to read measurements during interview), inspect, examine, and observe for product defects Make fraction and decimal conversions Operate any equipment needed to perform a job Perform other duties as assigned Provide on-the-job training to new employees

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age to apply
  • Must be authorized to work in the US
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
  • Ability to carry out written or verbal instructions
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist

Nice To Haves

  • Preferably with experience in manufacturing
  • Preferably with experience reading a tape measure
