Responsibilities Starting pay $18.50/hr with eligiblity to increase after 90 days Position Summary Reporting to the Production Team Leader, these positions are responsible for the safe and efficient manufacture, packaging, and inspection of our products.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Willing to be cross- trained in other positions.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical functions (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
  • Understanding and knowledge of reading basic measuring devices such as a tape measure.
  • Ability to work cohesively within a team and independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to obtain powered industrial vehicle (forklift / pallet jack) certifications.
  • Must be willing and able to work a12-Hour rotating shift schedule.
  • Must be willing to work overtime, weekends and holidays.
  • The employee must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 55 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to distinguish shades and colors.
  • Required to wear steel toed shoes, safety glasses and ear plugs in the manufacturing area.
  • Respirators may be required in specific areas of the plant.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience operating machinery preferred.
  • Previous experience operating a forklift is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Operate various equipment in the manufacture of our products.
  • Perform minor repairs and adjustments to equipment as needed.
  • Placement of materials on conveyor system.
  • Operate material handling equipment.
  • Complete necessary paperwork in a timely and accurate manner
  • Report malfunctions of equipment and deficiencies in processes.
  • Attain quality and quantity standards and keep accurate records.
  • Complete Take-5 Risk assessment and/or Pre-Flight Check lists at the beginning of each shift.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
  • Comply with Company policies and procedures.
  • Must report unsafe conditions to supervisor.
  • Take action to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Perform any other reasonable duties that may be required from time to time.
