About The Position
Quanex is looking for a Production Associate to join our team in Mounds View, Minnesota. In this role, you are responsible for performing assigned production functions (assembly, cutting, notching, taping and painting window grille components) in a safe manner to consistently meet production standards and quality requirements.
Requirements
- High school education or equivalent preferred.
- At least 6 months of production, assembly, or related work experience preferred.
- Manual finger dexterity skills.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds.
- Displays a positive attitude and a strong desire to learn and grow.
Responsibilities
- Follows all safety procedures, rules, and guidelines.
- Monitors product to ensure quality standards are being met and rejects product that does not meet quality standards.
- Keeps the work area in a neat and orderly condition in compliance with 5S standards.
- Accurately, thoroughly, and legibly completes production reports and other documentation.
- Promotes teamwork by cooperating and supporting co-workers.
- Assists in other work areas when the workload permits or requires.
