About The Position

The primary role of General Production is to perform tasks with a focus on safety, quality, and productivity.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Stable work history with preferred 2 – 3 years of manufacturing experience. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.
  • Proven problem solving and organizational skills.
  • Works well in a team environment with a diverse workforce.
  • Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism.
  • Ability to read and interpret production paperwork and labels
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using metrology instruments and recording inspection data
  • Candidates must be comfortable working with both manual and powered tools commonly used in manufacturing and assembly environments.
  • This role requires consistent physical activity throughout the shift, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying materials weighing up to 50 lbs independently and up to 100 lbs with team assistance.
  • Employees must be able to stand and walk for up to 12 hours per day on hard surfaces.
  • Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and climbing may be required to access materials and operate equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Process-driven with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Assists co-workers in analyzing and correcting problems encountered in job assignments to perform work according to standard work procedures and instructions
  • Prepare vinyl lineals for production using a lamination process
  • Saw and machine vinyl and metal to prepare for window and door assembly utilizing CNC saws and mills.
  • Assemble and glaze windows and patio doors through an assembly line process.
  • Meet daily production rates while maintaining quality standards for raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work area.
  • Read and interpret production paperwork and labels
  • Record inspection data
  • Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Perform work according to standard work procedures and instructions
  • Perform additional tasks assigned by the Supervisor or Manager as needed to support operations.
