Job Summary: Production Associates operate various manufacturing equipment in conjunction with the production efforts for our aluminum products. To be successful in this role, a Production Associate will have good people skills, be teachable, and be flexible to adjust as business needs adjust.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 3 or more years of consistent work experience.
  • Willing and able to work rotating or swing shifts, weekends, nights, and holidays.
  • Ability and willingness to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and work in a heavy manufacturing environment.
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.
  • Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s Degree, two-year technical degree, or bachelor’s degree.
  • 5 or more years of consistent experience.
  • Knowledge of production processes, quality control, budgets and cost control, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture of goods.
  • Understanding of the customer/supplier relationship and ability to build consensus is vital.
  • Flexible, cooperative team member.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and effective problem solving skills.
  • Ability to interface effectively with technology.

Responsibilities

  • Operating state-of-the-art production equipment to process aluminum in a heavy manufacturing environment, within a team culture.
  • Interfacing with computerized processes to operate machinery and associated mobile equipment.
  • Monitor and review information from process materials or the environment to detect or assess problems.
  • Problem-solve with co-workers using relevant information and judgement.
  • Make decisions to determine efficient operation of the equipment.
  • Ability and willingness to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and work in a heavy manufacturing environment.
  • Must be available and willing to work any shift, schedule, overtime, holidays, etc. as required.
  • All other tasks and duties as assigned
