This role involves filling, labeling, and preparing gas cylinders, and operating a cryogenic liquid filling system, with a strong emphasis on safety and attention to detail. Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Must be able to push, pull, move and/or lift a minimum of 75 pounds
  • Availability to work overtime

  • 1+ yr. experience in a plant or manufacturing environment preferred

Responsibilities

  • Process medical and industrial gas cylinders using established plant guidelines and procedures
  • Conduct cylinder inspections to determine need for retesting or repairs through visual, physical, and odor tests before filling
  • Checks for cylinder quantities, styles and product, and fill any necessary product
  • Loads and unloads product from weekly shuttle truck
  • Operates and maintains cylinder scales and associated equipment
  • Prepares warehouse transfer orders and accompanying paperwork for shipment and keys into the computer the quantities, styles and products filled in order to justify the stock inventory
  • Completes and maintains quality control documentation as per company and Governmental procedures
  • Operates a forklift truck and other plant vehicles
  • Other duties as assigned
