About The Position

Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the primary duties of this job. Typically, the associate will lift, pull and move heavy duty truck parts that might be in excess of 50 lbs. The associate will also have to do the following throughout the day: walking, bending, twisting, stepping, stooping, reaching, lifting, and pushing. Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred but not required
- Two years of experience in a remanufacturing facility
- Attention to detail with good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a production environment that’s loud and greasy
- Ability to stand for long periods of time lifting up to 40 lbs. repeatedly
Responsibilities
- Inspect power industrial equipment (PIE) before operation
- Handles machinery that cleans the lining of the brake shoe
- Cleans the grim and rust off the brake shoe before placing in washer
- Inspects the lining of the brake shoe once washed
- Completes assigned tasks accurately in a timely manner
- Attends daily pre- shift meetings
