About The Position
As a Production Operator at PPG Industries in Oklahoma City, you will play a crucial role in our operations, ensuring that high-quality products are available to our customers when they need them. This position is essential in a distribution center setting where you will be responsible for packing, moving, and preparing products for shipment. The role requires adherence to established procedures and guidelines to manufacture the organization's products according to production specifications, schedules, volume, cost, and wastage targets, as well as quality standards. You will operate machinery and production equipment safely and in accordance with instructions, while also monitoring the quality output to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products. Maintaining accurate daily production records is vital for analyzing manufacturing performance, and you must also maintain acceptable attendance levels. Other duties may be assigned as needed. The position offers two shifts: the first shift runs from 6 am to 2:30 pm, and the second shift from 2 pm to 10:30 pm. The pay rate for this position is $21.19 per hour, with eligibility for overtime as needed.
