About The Position

The Production Associate role at Morgan Advanced Materials involves the safe and efficient manufacture, packaging, and inspection of thermal insulation products. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least six (6) months previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience operating machinery preferred.
• Previous experience operating a forklift is a plus.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical functions (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Understanding and knowledge of reading basic measuring devices such as a tape measure.
• Ability to work cohesively within a team and independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to obtain powered industrial vehicle (forklift / pallet jack) certifications.

Nice To Haves

• Willingness to be cross-trained in other positions.

Responsibilities

• Operate various equipment in the manufacture of products.
• Perform minor repairs and adjustments to equipment as needed.
• Place materials on the conveyor system.
• Operate material handling equipment.
• Complete necessary paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
• Report malfunctions of equipment and deficiencies in processes.
• Attain quality and quantity standards and keep accurate records.
• Complete Take-5 Risk assessment and/or Pre-Flight Check lists at the beginning of each shift.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
• Comply with Company policies and procedures.
• Report unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Take action to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Perform any other reasonable duties that may be required.
