Requirements

• High school diploma or its equivalent.
• Steady work history with good work ethics.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Ability to read measurements and possess mechanical aptitude.
• Basic computer knowledge and ability to read/measure with a tape ruler.
• Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts.
• Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment (with training).
• Ability to certify as a Technician and improve through the certification process.

Nice To Haves

• At least two years of experience in a production workspace.
• Well-organized with a history of showing initiative.
• Knowledge of current OSHA safety rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Follows all directives of the Supervisor, Operators, and Department Manager in a respectful and responsible manner.
• Takes instruction from assigned trainers regarding the setup, troubleshooting, and successful running of each aspect of the production line and process.
• Learns all profiles with regard to specifications with a focus on quality standards and rate.
• Leaves the next shift with the necessary materials to begin their shift.
• Communicates with the next shift Technicians to exchange pertinent information.
• Keeps accurate and legible production reports.
• Identifies problems and reports them to supervision and maintenance.
• Maintains a neat and clean work area in accordance with Housekeeping Policy.
