About The Position
Cintas is seeking a Production Associate -- Wire Hanger Sorter to support the Rental Division. The Wire Hanger Sorter is responsible for cleaning, reshaping, and sorting used hangers for recycling and reuse in the Uniform Rental Process. Production Associates are expected to maintain the cleanliness of their work area and to meet or exceed a standard for quantity and quality of work. This role requires adherence to safety protocols and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment where time pressures are present. The position involves repetitive motions, stretching, bending, turning, or reaching to accomplish work activities, and candidates must be willing to work in close proximity to others for extended periods of time. The ideal candidate will display a high level of effort and commitment towards performing work, demonstrating dependability and a strong work ethic. Interpersonal skills are crucial, as the role requires pleasant interactions with coworkers and a cooperative attitude. Teamwork and collaboration are essential, as the Production Associate will work with others to achieve common goals. Safety orientation is a priority, and candidates must be adaptable and flexible, able to switch between tasks or priorities quickly. Integrity and honesty are also key attributes, as is the ability to recall information presented previously. The selection process may include an application and resume review, interviews, and a job tryout, which provides a realistic job preview to better understand the work environment and performance expectations. Candidates will be compensated for their time during the job tryout. Not all applicants will progress through the entire selection process; only those identified as most qualified will be invited to the next step.
