About The Position

BSN Sports, A Varsity Achievement Brand, is looking to hire a Production Associate. As a Screen Print Specialist, this role is responsible for assisting with the production of screen-printed material. Roles include the production, coating, and cleaning of screens used in the screen-printing process, quality check finished product based on customer specifications, assisting on press loading material and by applying ink to screens, and the movement of material throughout the facility, and the use of an RF scanner.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with screen printing machines and software.
  • Ability to spot errors and ensure precise stitching.
  • An eye for accuracy to catch irregularities ensuring that we only send out the best product.
  • A reliable team member that employees can count on every day to be punctual.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time with repetitive body movements and lifting of no less than 15 lbs.
  • Read and comprehend documents, instructions, and correspondence in English to perform job duties efficiently.
  • Participate in meetings, discussions, and presentations requiring proficient spoken English skills.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing valuable insights and feedback in English.
  • Learn tasks quickly, be detailed, accuracy-driven, personable, team-oriented, and punctual with excellence in attendance.
  • Candidates are required to see and differentiate colors for accuracy in inspecting the product during and after being processed
  • HS Diploma or GED (required)

Nice To Haves

  • Previous warehouse experience is a bonus
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a bonus

Responsibilities

  • Reviews work order, observes specifications and any special notes, and prepares work area to start to print multi-color work.
  • Direct physical activity is required to maintain their productivity while meeting the highest quality specifications.
  • Quality check decorated garments based on customer specifications.
  • Assist the press operator by loading material on press, applying ink to screens, changing squeegees, and pre-counting material before decoration based on the paperwork.
  • Operation of machinery is used to coat, reclaim, image, and develop screens used in the screen-printing process.
  • Move material into staging locations throughout the facility using a pallet jack and RF scanner.
  • Ensures that their area and equipment is kept clean, wiped down with press wash at least once per week.
  • Utilize all personal protective equipment as required for personal safety and the safety of their peers.
  • Learn tasks quickly, accurately driven, personable, team oriented, and punctual with excellence in attendance.
