This Production Associate role involves various tasks within a manufacturing environment, primarily focusing on handling glass. Key responsibilities include moving glass between different stages (tables, furnace, racks, trucks, crates), transporting materials to optimize production, accurately labeling products, conducting quality inspections, and operating or manually maneuvering equipment. The associate must understand the facility layout for efficient product flow, be able to perform different job functions on a rotating basis, and promptly report any product abnormalities to a supervisor. Maintaining a safe and clean work area, along with regular attendance and adherence to safety policies, are essential functions. The position requires individuals to be at least 18 years old, capable of reading and communicating paperwork, interpreting basic mathematical measurements, and effectively using a tape measure. All production workers are expected to be available to work in all areas of production, with flexible availability typically Monday through Friday and occasional weekends. Physical demands include lifting up to 75lbs unassisted (and up to 150lbs with assistance) and standing for long periods. Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or production facility is preferred.
