About The Position

This Production Associate role involves various tasks within a manufacturing environment, primarily focusing on handling glass. Key responsibilities include moving glass between different stages (tables, furnace, racks, trucks, crates), transporting materials to optimize production, accurately labeling products, conducting quality inspections, and operating or manually maneuvering equipment. The associate must understand the facility layout for efficient product flow, be able to perform different job functions on a rotating basis, and promptly report any product abnormalities to a supervisor. Maintaining a safe and clean work area, along with regular attendance and adherence to safety policies, are essential functions. The position requires individuals to be at least 18 years old, capable of reading and communicating paperwork, interpreting basic mathematical measurements, and effectively using a tape measure. All production workers are expected to be available to work in all areas of production, with flexible availability typically Monday through Friday and occasional weekends. Physical demands include lifting up to 75lbs unassisted (and up to 150lbs with assistance) and standing for long periods. Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or production facility is preferred. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old
Ability to read, understand, and communicate paperwork and labels
Ability to read and interpret basic mathematical measurements and effectively use a tape measure
All production workers are expected to be available to work in all areas of production

Responsibilities

Move glass from, tables, furnace, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or wood crates for eight or more hours, daily
Transport of materials including glass from one position/location to another in an an effort to expedite the production process
Read and attach appropriate labels and tags to product
Quality inspection, operating equipment, and/or manually maneuvering equipment
Understand layout of the facility to ensure proper product flow
Perform different job functions on a rotating basis
Inspect product for any abnormalities and notifying supervisor immediately of any issues (fabrication issues, logo placement, etc.)
Maintain a safe and clean work area
Regular and predictable attendance, the ability to safely perform tasks, and adherence to all safety policies and procedures are essential functions of your job
