About The Position

The Production Associate at CMMG Inc. is responsible for assembling and disassembling components and assemblies in various production areas. This entry-level position requires attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment while producing high-quality finished goods. The role involves frequent quality checks and interaction with different departments to ensure customer satisfaction and product accuracy.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing/assembly knowledge preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure during tight deadlines.
• Detail-oriented.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to lift and manipulate heavy objects up to 60 lbs.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for eight hours and perform physical activities.
• Ability to read, write, sort, check, count and verify numbers.
• Ability to detect problems and report information to appropriate personnel.
• Work independently and within a team environment.
• Establish and maintain working relationships with other employees and management.
• Knowledge and ability to use hardware and software (Microsoft Word, Excel, e-mail, internet and more).
• Satisfactorily complete the 90 day probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Check products for defects and accuracy.
• Handle outgoing shipments by checking them physically.
• Ensure that serial numbers match the product that is being shipped.
• Report and replace any defective items to Department Head.
• Verify accuracy of orders by matching them with quantities and types.
• Ensure that items are properly assembled.
• Make sure that products are produced in a safe and timely manner.
• Ensure that the working area is cleaned and maintained at all times.
• Handle daily cycle counting of assigned areas.
• Assemble small miscellaneous parts in bags, label with bar codes.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
