Are you someone who enjoys hands-on work, operating machinery, and being part of a growing team? Join Nordic Ware as a Production Associate in our Molding and Spinning Department on 1st shift! In this position, you will be responsible for operating a variety of machines, including Injection Molding, Compression Molding, and Metal Forming equipment, to process and finish production parts. This role is perfect for you if you are mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and looking to contribute to a growing company known for its innovation and quality!

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or the equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience with manufacturing equipment or machines preferred
  • Ability to work independently or on a conveyor line with others
  • Must have good attendance habits.
  • Possess effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Operate various machines in injection molding, compression molding and spinning to produce plastic or metal products.
  • Trim/de-flash parts using knives, clippers or cutters.
  • Ensure machine produces quality parts.
  • Ensure the accuracy of the parts produced is documented correctly and all scrap is properly accounted for.
  • Stack finished parts on skids and tags skids.
  • Periodically uses hand lift to move materials.
  • Ensure work area and machines are kept clean and orderly.
  • Complete daily production card.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
