About The Position

We are looking for a talented Production Associate- Level II to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility Rocky Mount, NC. In this role, you will make an impact by ensuring safety, promoting health, maintaining quality, achieving production goals, supporting teamwork, demonstrating environmental responsibility, engaging in continuous improvement, and performing housekeeping and maintenance tasks.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
  • Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
  • Need to build multiple engine types

Responsibilities

  • Ensure Safety: By stopping work and reporting any major injury hazards immediately, you will help maintain a safe working environment.
  • Promote Health: Reporting any work-related injuries, illnesses, incidents, or hazards ensures that health and safety standards are upheld.
  • Maintain Quality: Following standard work, process documentation, and quality procedures helps minimize costs and quality exposures.
  • Achieve Production Goals: Operating manual and automated equipment efficiently to meet production goals and customer expectations.
  • Support Teamwork: Communicating effectively with your team and support teams to improve quality, safety, processes, and material flow.
  • Environmental Responsibility: Recognizing and minimizing the negative impact of your work on the environment.
  • Continuous Improvement: Engaging in training and personal development to stay aligned with business requirements and improve your skills.
  • Housekeeping and Maintenance: Keeping your work area clean and orderly, performing routine housekeeping tasks, and identifying equipment needing repair.
