About The Position

Overall Objective: Direct work in a production area ensuring continuous work, safe work practices, and on-schedule completion. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Follow directions from Production Supervisor, Assistant Production Supervisor and Production Associate III Ensure all members of the line understand the work instructions by conducting proper training Demonstrate ability to perform all jobs on the line or area of responsibility Work efficiently and communicate appropriately with other members of the line Maintain pace to ensure orders will be completed on time. Perform work assignments timely and accurately. Demonstrate ability to operate all equipment safely and properly Inform Supervisor or Production Associate III of any issues Demonstrate good working understanding of quality processes (VCI rules, non-conforming product, etc). Identify and correct errors quickly Weigh parts consistently if required. Seal and label containers appropriately Ensure all materials and parts are present on the line before starting a new work order Ensure product is placed on skid in accordance with work orders Consistently follow procedures for scanning vendor labels Meet productivity standards Complete required paperwork accurately, timely, and legible Perform any other related duties as required or assigned Observe safety and security procedures; reports unsafe conditions, uses equipment and materials properly Report job-related injuries immediately Control and monitor all work order changeovers. Follow established procedures for re-stock. Conduct spot-checks

Requirements

  • Must be a current Crown or temporary associate to be considered for this position
  • Basic computer skills
  • Must be able to stand 8-10 hours a day
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Work overtime when required
  • Able to meet all mandatory training for position
  • Consistently be at work and on time
