About The Position

The Production Associate II at Rich Products Corporation is responsible for the preparation and packaging of frozen extruded or specialty food products at the Brunswick facility. This role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and quality in food production, requiring effective communication and teamwork to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. The position operates on the 2nd Shift from 3 PM to 11:30 PM EST.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• One year of experience in a food processing/manufacturing/industrial environment is a plus.
• Ability to listen and follow basic instructions and work routines from superiors.
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Standards.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions.
• Ability to complete reports and forms.
• Ability to understand and follow safety rules and instructions.
• Ability to work around flour, cinnamon, and other bakery ingredients.

• Experience in a food processing/manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively in a team environment regarding safety and product quality.
• Report workplace safety concerns and take corrective actions when necessary.
• Promote a culture of safety and efficiency by adhering to plant safety and work rules.
• Ensure compliance with safety rules among fellow associates.
• Support the plant's 6s initiative by keeping supplies and equipment organized.
• Palletize finished cases according to specifications and ensure proper labeling and sealing.
• Use electric or hand pallet jacks to move large amounts of weight.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment according to GMP and Safety Guidelines.
• Operate processing equipment and verify product quality at process control points.
• Assist Quality Assurance in obtaining product samples and ensure specifications are met.
• Complete production reports as required.
