We have a fantastic opportunity for a Production Associate I. As a Production Associate I for the Global Solutions division of ASSA ABLOY, you will have the opportunity to assemble Access Control Products in a Clean and Safe Work Environment. Reporting to the Director of Production/Manufacturing, you will be responsible for building, testing, and packaging all assembled products for finished goods inventory.

Requirements

  • Minimum one year of experience in a manufacturing operations environment
  • GED or High School Diploma
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs at times
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • You will need to be in or near Kennesaw, GA, for your daily commute

Responsibilities

  • Follow standardized best practices for completing builds and testing
  • Follow safe work procedures and policies designated for all work areas
  • Identify and report unsafe practices or injuries to the Supervisor or Director immediately
  • Ensure that the work environment is maintained clean, safe, and organized
  • Complete all builds within designed time frames per product
  • Coordinate with the Production Supervisor to prioritize and schedule work orders to meet deadlines
  • Meet or exceed all quality standards for each product and complete quality records as required
  • Perform supervised quality inspections per Product requirements
  • Assist in analyzing root causes of nonconformances
  • Strive to reduce expenses, eliminate waste, and increase productivity across all product lines
