About The Position

The Production Level I Associate at Rich Products Corporation plays a crucial role in a team-oriented environment, focusing on safety, product quality, and efficiency. This position operates during the 3rd shift (11 PM to 7:30 AM) and involves various tasks related to food processing, including palletizing, mixing, and maintaining a clean work environment according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Basic math and computer skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • One year of experience in a food processing/manufacturing/industrial environment is a plus.
  • Ability to listen and follow basic instructions and work routines from superiors.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions.
  • Ability to complete reports and forms.
  • Ability to understand and follow safety rules and instructions.
  • Physical ability to work around flour and cinnamon and other bakery ingredients.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a food processing/manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with GMP standards.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively in a team environment about safety and product quality.
  • Report workplace safety concerns and take corrective actions when necessary.
  • Promote a culture of safety and efficiency by adhering to plant safety and work rules.
  • Ensure compliance with safety rules among fellow associates.
  • Support the plant's 6s initiative by keeping supplies and equipment organized.
  • Palletize finished cases per specifications and ensure proper labeling and packaging.
  • Push and pull large amounts of weight using electric or hand pallet jacks.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment according to GMP and Safety Guidelines.
  • Operate processing equipment and verify process control points and product quality.
  • Assist Quality Assurance in obtaining product samples and ensure specifications are met.
  • Complete production reports as required.
