Production Associate I - 2nd Shift (onsite)
About The Position

Requirements
- Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/ technical education in related discipline
Responsibilities
- Deburr and finish aluminum parts and possibly machine operation.
- Demonstrate proper use of simple hand and machine tools to include files, hammers, chisels and pneumatic sanders and die grinders.
- Accurately read and follow procedures, routing and other work instructions.
- Responsible for quality product standards with no defects.
- Ensure creation of parts meet customer deadlines and expectations.
- Comply with applicable elements of quality systems.
- Participate in cost reduction plans and continuous improvement plans/events as required.
- Participate in audits.
- Acquire applicable skill/knowledge/certifications as required.
- Maintain materials, equipment, and work area in clean and orderly condition.
- Comply with all rules and regulations of RTX, including, but not limited to: Environmental Health and Safety, Ethics, International Trade Compliance, and Human Resources.
- Examine methods and results for conformance to standards and reinstruct as required.
- Report to lead or supervisor on work progress and updates including conditions surrounding failures to meet quality standards.
- Lift and manipulate up to 25 pounds.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
