About The Position

General Description: The Production Associate is responsible for various tasks on the production floor as assigned by the Shift Supervisor. Primary Responsibilities: · Actively participate in stopping and correcting unsafe conditions and behaviors · Demonstrate daily evidence of continuous improvement efforts of 5S and autonomous maintenance · Treat quality as a key pillar of our success by always doing the right thing for our customers · Solve problems daily by working together as an engaged team member · Unpackage and prepare raw material for use in production · Retrieve and prepare work in process parts for the next production process · Prepare finished products for inventory by assembling packaging material, labeling, taping, stacking, inspecting, and recording information · Help in the relief of breaks as needed · Maintain records and documentation · Other projects and tasks as assigned

Requirements

  • Ability to work independently
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and safety standards
  • Sound communication skills and excellent problem-solving ability
  • Possess skills required to improvise and adapt where needed
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Represent the company in a professional, positive and enthusiastic manner in all matters
  • Comply with occupational safety regulations
  • Work in shifts and overtime as required.
  • Able to lift 50 lbs.
