About The Position

Your schedule will be Monday-Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm, with overtime on a business need basis. Compensation • $1,500 Sign on Bonus • Eligible for Annual Increases • Competitive Benefits Package, including first day Medical Benefits What You Will Do • Deburr and finish aluminum parts and possibly machine operation. • Demonstrate proper use of simple hand and machine tools to include files, hammers, chisels and air tools required. • Accurately read and follow procedures, routing and other work instructions. • Responsible for quality product standards with no defects. • Ensure creation of parts meet customer deadlines and expectations. • Comply with applicable elements of quality systems. • Participate in cost reduction plans and continuous improvement plans/events as required. • Participate in audits. • Acquire applicable skill/knowledge/certifications as required. • Maintain materials, equipment, and work area in clean and orderly condition. • Comply with all rules and regulations of RTX, including, but not limited to: Environmental Health and Safety, Ethics, International Trade Compliance, and Human Resources. • Examine methods and results for conformance to standards and reinstruct as required. • Report to lead or supervisor on work progress and updates including conditions surrounding failures to meet quality standards. • Lift and manipulate up to 25 pounds. • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/ technical education in related discipline
