About The Position

The Production Associate I at AtriCure is responsible for the manufacturing and assembly of medical device components and finished products. This role requires compliance with production control documentation and quality system requirements, under the supervision of a production supervisor. The position emphasizes quality assurance, teamwork, and continuous improvement in a cleanroom environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Ability to handle and assemble small parts
• Great attention to detail
• Ability to work using microscopes and other magnifying aids
• Good oral and communication skills
• Professional interactions with customers and employees
• Seeks opportunities to learn new skills and acquire information
• Ability to travel 5%

Nice To Haves

• Previous Medical Device industry experience
• Assembly experience and/or experience in manufacturing
• Knowledge of cGMP and ISO standards

Responsibilities

• Assemble medical devices used in surgery
• Assist with the movement of materials through workstations and label bins and trays
• Identify gaps in employee training and deficiencies in production documentation
• Perform in-process inspections per process specifications
• Ensure products meet current quality requirements
• Raise issues or concerns with components, processes, and documentation
• Operate equipment and processes per specifications
• Document time to appropriate manufacturing orders
• Follow process specifications and production rules
• Help improve processes throughout the department
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance
• Work under fast-paced conditions
• Make decisions and use good judgment
• Prioritize various duties and multitask as required
• Work collaboratively with others
• Perform additional duties as assigned
