About The Position

Job Summary: Operates machines and production equipment independently in accordance with quality and productivity requirements safely in a manufacturing environment and may instruct or coach others. We are looking for a talented Production Associate - Engine Painter to join our Manufacturing business in (Henderson, CO). We offer competitive pay and benefits! This role will make an impact in the following ways: Independently operate machines and production equipment to manufacture and assemble products that meet quality and dimensional requirements Perform prep, masking, mixing, and painting of engine components following defined quality standards Conduct quality inspections, identify non-conforming material, and take action to minimize cost and quality exposure Achieve production goals while working at required cycle times and engineering standards Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping and machine cleaning Perform planned operator care and basic maintenance tasks and communicate equipment issues to support teams Instruct and coach team members and act as an informal resource for less experienced associates Adhere to Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures, and regulations, including proper PPE use and hazard reporting Participate in continuous improvement activities related to safety, quality, process, and material flow Responsibilities In order to be successful in this role you will need the following: 2+ years of experience as an automotive engine painter or in a relevant manufacturing role Knowledge of industrial painting techniques on metals including iron, aluminum, steel, and cast materials Ability to perform all painting processes independently while following standard work and quality procedures Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to follow written and verbal instructions Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems (SPC, poka-yoke, visual standards), and operator maintenance Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with peers, skilled trades, and support teams Physically able to stand, sit, kneel, lift, and climb ladders in a manufacturing environment Qualifications Qualifications and Competencies In order to be successful in this role you will need the following: 2+ years of experience as an automotive engine painter or in a relevant manufacturing role. Knowledge of painting techniques on various metals including iron, aluminum, steel, and cast. Ability to perform prep, masking, mixing, and painting independently, following quality standards. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Physically able to sit, stand, kneel, lift, and climb ladders; able to work safely in a manufacturing environment. Education, Licenses, Certifications: High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. Experience: Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
