About The Position

Execute production operations according to defined Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure the integrity and quality of products Perform reagent formulation while safely handling corrosive/flammable chemicals and fragile glassware Operate liquid handling robotic system and complex manufacturing equipment for production biochemistry under supervision Operate and maintain laboratory to clean room standards required in the production of Life Science products Process work orders accurately using an ERP system in a timely manner Ensure accurate tracking and documentation of production, testing, and inventory data Provide guidance and support to peers to ensure successful execution Contributes meaningfully to the efficiency, quality, and overall success of the manufacturing operation

Requirements

  • B.S./M.S. in one of the following disciplines - Molecular Biology, Analytical Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent
  • 3 years of relevant laboratory experience in manufacturing or QC of Life Science products
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work load to meet strict deadlines under supervision
  • Effective communicator skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams to clearly relay production issues and updates
  • Motivated to contribute to a fast-paced, evolving organization by driving continuous improvement in products and processes
  • Basic understanding of industry manufacturing workflow and ERP systems
  • Basic understanding of DNA sequencing, PCR or other nucleic acid based technologies and relevant experience
  • Relevant experience in a production environment working with standard production control tools - ERP, LIMS, inventory control, work orders
  • Experience with liquid handling robotic system
  • Experience with common lab equipment such as pipettes, centrifuges, thermocyclers, microscopes, etc.
