About The Position

Requirements

Nice To Haves

• Minimum two years' experience within a manufacturing environment.
• One year experience operating heavy equipment and/or forklifts in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Experience working in a lumber or wood products environment.
• Experience using a computer for record keeping and documentation purposes.
• Experience performing basic maintenance on forklifts.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Work in various areas throughout the mill to meet or exceed production and quality goals.
• Perform housekeeping functions to maintain machinery and reduce safety hazards.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment using blowers, brooms, and other equipment.
• Collaborate as a team to minimize waste and achieve production goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Lift up to 50 lbs, walk, climb, push, twist, and stoop for up to twelve hours a day.
