About The Position

The Production Associate works within all areas of the production and warehouse teams, ensuring all duties are completed in a timely manner and to a high degree of company standards. This is a 2nd shift schedule Monday - Thursday 4:15pm - 2:45am. Receive $1 p/hr extra shift differential.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to differentiate between colors.
  • Basic math and measurement skills.
  • Display a positive attitude and work well with all levels of personnel, whether individually or in a team environment.
  • Must be able to effectively manage time by organizing and planning work.
  • Experience and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Effectively communicate questions, problems, and reports to co-workers, supervisory and management personnel.
  • Flexibility to accommodate unscheduled changes in duties and work overtime as needed.
  • Thorough understanding of operations policies and practices.
  • Good verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

  • Make ink to specification using Pantone formulas and Xrite verification tools.
  • Manage ink inventory, storage, and ink distribution for production.
  • Safely accumulate, label, and store hazardous waste.
  • Assist with finished good preparation, staging, and shipment.
  • Assist with inventory management and coordination/distribution of production supply materials.
  • Assist with receiving/shipping for inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Assist with material waste disposal and recycling.
  • Operate machines in the absence of the machine operator.
  • Conduct housekeeping of assigned area each shift.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
  • Strive for continuous improvement in all processes (safety, quality, productivity, cost).
  • Comply with all company and Food Safety policies and practices as applicable.
  • Communicate with other departments, including Maintenance, Warehouse, and Quality, as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
