About The Position

The Entry Utility position at International Paper involves safely running machines and adhering to all safety rules and practices at all times. The role requires counting and stacking finished products, learning customer requirements and specifications by reading factory work orders, print cards, and design specifications. The position also involves utilizing basic shop math, accurately reading tape measures, gauges, and other test equipment, coordinating activities with other machine crew members to efficiently set up and run orders, maintaining quality and production standards, monitoring the quality and quantity of production, maintaining housekeeping during the assigned shift, performing quality inspections and tests, and recording findings. Other duties may be assigned by supervision.

Requirements

• 3-6 months hands on Industrial Plant manufacturing experience
• Corrugated industry experience preferred
• Sit down Forklift/pull pack experience preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
• Ability to accurately read a tape measurer and ruler
• Ability to use basic shop math
• Ability to learn and follow instructions, ask questions, and work effectively as a member of a team
