About The Position

As a Production Assistant, you will work closely with our developers to document production schedules, track feature and content statuses, and communicate progress to assist the team in achieving our quality and creative goals. This role offers a flexible hybrid work week from our Irvine, CA studio location, with a mix of remote and on-site days. While hybrid is the standard arrangement, you're also welcome to work on-site full-time if you prefer. Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. Requirements

  • 0–1 year of experience supporting projects in games, film, technology, or similar environments, or equivalent experience gained through internships, academic work, or personal projects.
  • Desire to pursue a career in game production.
  • General understanding of project management fundamentals (e.g., basic scheduling, task tracking, and status updates).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook (or similar productivity tools).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with common project management tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, or similar).
  • Prior experience supporting a creative project as a Production Assistant or Coordinator, including school projects, indie games, films, commercials, or comparable work.
  • Familiarity with basic project management methodologies such as Waterfall or Agile.
  • Passion for video games and familiarity with a variety of genres; experience playing live service or MMO-style games is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on administrative support to production teams, including taking meeting notes, updating schedules and calendars, and sending team-wide communications to share progress and updates.
  • Assist with task and bug tracking by maintaining accuracy in internal tools, databases, and spreadsheets.
  • Help facilitate communication across our development and partner teams to ensure information is shared clearly and on time.
  • Support the team by helping remove small obstacles, keeping information organized, and enabling team members to stay focused on their work.
