About The Position

The position of Production Assistant works under the supervision of the Plant Manager and as part of the production team to provide administrative support to the Production/Facility to ensure quality of the product built and delivery is completed according to customer agreed requirements.

Requirements

  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-driven and motivated
  • Organized, detail and results oriented
  • Ability to prioritize and handle numerous issues simultaneously
  • Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc)
  • Administrative experience in working with production, purchase order, billing and more

Responsibilities

  • General administrative and clerical tasks requested by team members to complete projects efficiently and on time.
  • Answer queries and communications through phone or email
  • Handle paperwork related to production
  • Review work orders to ensure the production orders are complete
  • Assist with inventory management by tracking materials used in production and ordering new supplies as needed
  • Review and verify finished goods
