Requirements

  • 2 to 5 years of experience working in a live performing arts venue/ center/theater
  • Knowledge and experience working with stagehand personnel
  • Knowledge of operations, maintenance, and arena management
  • Working knowledge of applicable OSHA, state and other work environment and safety regulations
  • Working knowledge of fire and public safety issues
  • Must be fluent in English, bilingual in Spanish a plus

  • Technical degree or certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site support for event and production operations, including setup, execution, and breakdown to ensure smooth show flow.
  • On site for theater load in days and assist with day of show production
  • Assist clients production team and stagehands with day-of logistics, schedules, and equipment coordination
  • Serve as a point of contact between internal teams, vendors, and talent to relay information and resolve issues in real time
  • Assist with advancing shows including but not limited to, stagehand quotes, vendor quotes, security and front of house scheduling, and client estimates.
  • Monitor stagehands tasks including maintenance needs, ensure OSHA guidelines are being followed.
  • Perform general administrative and operational tasks as needed, including filing, inventory tracking, credential distribution, and troubleshooting on-site needs
  • Creating or reviewing diagrams, plots & rigging information
