About The Position

CMG is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Loan Officer Assistant (Production Assistant) to join our growing mortgage team. This individual will support a team of Loan Officers by managing administrative and operational tasks to ensure smooth and timely closings. The ideal candidate is proactive, customer-service oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume lending environment. This is a hybrid position for the Greater Phoenix, AZ area.

Requirements

• 2+ years in mortgage operations, loan processing, or as a Loan Officer Assistant (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of mortgage products, documentation, and compliance.
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in LOS systems (Encompass, Calyx, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• An ability to manage multiple files and deadlines simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and submit complete loan application packages.
• Gather and verify borrower documentation (income, assets, credit, etc.).
• Communicate with Loan Officers, borrowers, processors, underwriters, and title companies.
• Serve as the point of contact for borrowers regarding loan status updates.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflow and customer experience.
• Assist Loan Officers in meeting production goals through administrative and process support.
