Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED (technical training preferred)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearance
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required production certifications
  • Experience using hand tools in a manufacturing or production environment preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, and specifications
  • Experience with soldering, crimping, and torque tools preferred
  • Basic computer proficiency in a production setting
  • Ability to lift 10–35 lbs
  • Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, twisting, reaching overhead
  • Repetitive hand/finger manipulation and reading from screens or printed documents
  • Ability to work in a production floor environment

Responsibilities

  • Assemble structural, mechanical, and electrical systems, subassemblies, and components in a production environment
  • Read and interpret technical work instructions, schematics, and engineering drawings
  • Identify correct parts, tooling, and equipment prior to assembly
  • Use hand tools and precision tools including screwdrivers, ratchets, power screwdrivers, multimeters, crimpers, and torque tools
  • Perform soldering, crimping, and torqueing operations as required
  • Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards and check for Foreign Object Debris (FOD)
  • Use a computer to access work instructions and document production activity
  • Maintain compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements
  • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance
