Assembler Essential Functions: Ability to use independent judgment, in visual checks to determine if process is within control Restock workstation with necessary parts and equipment Conduct quality checks as indicated in the Control Plan, and complete the appropriate paperwork Perform assembly operations per work instructions Weigh and pack finished goods Transport boxes accepted by quality to the end of the press/machine row Certify parts from hold cage Review work instructions and quality alerts daily at assigned presses/machines to assure proper part review, and sign-off on new quality alerts as needed. Attend shift meetings Notify supervisor, process tech, operator, and/or inspector of any part or equipment defects that affect quality of the parts and/or hinder the ability to do the job required. Notify process tech, supervisor, operator, and/or inspector when press alarms and/or stops running for any reason, or if scheduled press is not running. Rewind a variety of terminals, as defined by product codes Package and label properly Visually inspect equipment to ensure proper operating condition.
