About The Position

The position involves production, assembly, and general labor tasks related to door manufacturing. The employee will perform visual quality checks on stacks of doors, repair defects, and restack doors to meet quality specifications. The role requires operating various tools and equipment, including glue guns, sanders, and putty knives, to ensure high-quality standards in door production.

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret ticket instructions and specifications.
• Knowledge of product quality and defect identification.
• Experience with sanders, planers, and hand tools.
• High attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
• Ability to manually lift up to 80 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual quality checks on stacks of doors.
• Repair newly and previously identified doors with quality defects.
• Restack doors meeting quality specifications.
• Push pallets on conveyor and manage unrepairable doors.
• Operate jump tracks and straighten doors.
• Push door stacks onto infeed tracks of paint booth.
• Use various tools for repairs and finishing.
• Communicate defects to upstream and downstream departments.
